PROPHET MOSES

Surat al-Qasas, 23:
“When he arrived at the water of Madyan, he found a crowd of people drawing water there.” Men and women. “Standing apart from them, he found two women, holding back their sheep.” Bigots would probably have run away. But the Prophet Moses (pbuh) approaches them. “He said, ‘What are you two doing here’?” He wants to help them.  "They said, ‘We cannot draw water until the shepherds have driven off their sheep’.” Because brainless types refuse to go anywhere near them. They recognize high-quality people. What do they say? “You see our father is a very old man’.”
“So he drew water for them and then withdrew into the shade and said, ‘My Lord, I am truly in need of any good You have in store for me’.”
He desires good.
“One of them came walking shyly up to him...” In their eyes, she had also sinned. Because she approached him. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) approached her, and she him. "My father invites you so that he can pay you your wage for drawing water for us...” They praise him to their father.  “When he came to him and told him the whole story he said, ‘Have no fear, you have escaped from wrongdoing people’.” They say to their father, “He is someone strong and trustworthy.”
How could they know he was strong and trustworthy without seeing him? According to the bigots, they were sinning. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) also sinned. The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) sinned, too. And in their eyes, may Allah forbid, even our Prophet (pbuh) sinned. No. If I and the verses of the Qur’an are in error, let them say so to me. I read a verse and the bigots make not a sound. They even bring me reports from idols. Do not bring me reports from idols. Bring me information from the Qur’an. Do you cite evidence from the Qur’an? No. It always comes from idols. Tell me, “These verses you read are wrong.” But they are true. And you cannot say they are wrong.

“your Lord will unfold His mercy to you and open the way to the best for you in your situation.” the Qur’an says. That verse applies to the time of the Prophet Moses (pbuh). Under the influence of Pharaoh and the way of the dajjal [antichrist] of the time, their families gave those young people no peace. “No one believed in Moses except for a few of his people..,” Allah says. Only a very few young people can have faith. Because of the ruthless system in those times, the parents and families in those days were really extreme. They gave their children no peace in the time of Pharaoh. But those young people were heroic and still followed the Prophet Moses (pbuh). We are now in the End Times, in difficult days. But our job is to have affection, love and compassion.

The Prophet Moses (pbuh) had a very particular condition. He came to Pharaoh, and his chest tightened, his blood pressure rose and he experienced palpitations. He wished to speak, but was unable to because of his excitement. There are some people who become tongue-tied as they speak. Lots of people are unable to speak from excitement. We see that on the television and in films. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) had that attractive quality, he became tongue-tied. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will also become tongue-tied. “O Lord, give me my brother Aaron as a helper,” he says. Then they go and stand up to Pharaoh. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) challenges him, but suddenly becomes overexcited as he speaks. He becomes tongue-tied. At which his brother Aaron (pbuh) takes over. He starts speaking in his place. As Aaron speaks, the Prophet Moses (pbuh) recovers and starts speaking again. And again he becomes tongue-tied and Aaron has to take over again.

The Prophet Moses (pbuh) also never eliminated the need for free will at any stage. Let me give an example, Allah tells him to throw down his staff. He does so, and it turns into a snake. Is that not a miracle? Allah says he fled without looking behind him. Would he do such a thing if it would eliminate the need for free will? Allah then tells him to return and not be afraid. Prophets in My sight are not afraid, He says. He returns nervously, but since he is told not to fear, he is not afraid. Snakes are one of the things he fears most. For example, Almighty Allah says, “Go to Pharaoh.” They say they are afraid. They say so explicitly. If the need for free will were eliminated, the great prophet would not say “We are afraid, O Lord.” Allah tells him not to fear. There are many verses about not fearing. “I see, I hear, I am beside you,” Allah says. Allah constantly reminds him of His might and oneness. This is also a precaution against polytheism. Who gave Pharaoh that power? Allah. Who makes him speak? Allah. Allah says it is He Who gives him power. So fear me, not him, He says. Pharaoh could not take a step unless Allah gave him the strength. He does whatever Allah says, whatever is in his destiny. Allah says at the beginning that he will reject everything. He says that in the Torah.

For example, the Prophet Moses (pbuh) says, “O Lord, I want to see You.” That is a requirement of the test. It shows that the need for free will still applies. Almighty Allah asks, “Do you not believe in Me?” “In that case I shall manifest Myself on the mountain, and you will see Me, if you can bear it.” And when Allah manifested Himself on the mountain, the rocks were shattered by a powerful bolt of lightning. And my beloved one (Moses) fainted. “O Lord, I believe,” he said.

Pharaoh tells the Prophet Moses (as), "Am I not better than this man who is contemptible and can scarcely make anything clear?" He does not like the inferior classes. And what about people here? They do not care for our Kurdish and Arab brothers. But these are hospitable people and filled with love. Our Kurdish brothers in particular are radiant. They are extremely well-behaved and classy people. Those who speak against them are lacking in respect. The way of the Mahdi will embrace and love these blessed people, radiant people who are disparaged, despised, beaten and martyred. Top-quality people will emerge, and a top-quality world. Paris has not been Paris ever since it was first created, it only became Paris later on. London only became London later on. It is the same with the way of the Mahdi. There will be an explosion of civilization. The whole question is one of a leader taking charge of those intelligent, fine and loving people. Let us be brothers with Syria first of all, and the rest will be easy. There is but one Allah and one Word. We will make it even finer than Europe, I can guarantee them that. We will make Pakistan, Iran, Syria and Jordan even higher-quality than Europe. They can trust me on this, insha’Allah. They will be much better in character terms, too, but it is first essential that we unite.

It is indicated in the Qur’an that the Prophet Moses’ (as) people demanded cucumber, garlic and onions. “Do you want to replace what is better with what is inferior?” Allah says [in the Qur’an].  It is very unpleasant for a Muslim to smell of garlic or his hearth and home to smell of garlic and onion. Making the whole area of town smell of onion. It is obviously a most bad and disturbing smell. It is senseless to insist on recommending it or getting people to eat it and going and talking in people’s faces in that way. It is important to frequently rinse one’s mouth and keep it clean when fasting. Muslims must smell very fragrant. They regard the mouth’s unpleasant odor as something sacred. No foul smell can be sacred. Filth cannot be sacred. Ugliness cannot be sacred. Allah has provided the means, and it is very simple. But they invite Muslims to the evening Ramadan meal in order to get them to eat foul-smelling foods. For instance, they sit people down and feed them foods that smell of garlic. They eat that and then go out and make life unpleasant for everyone there. Their socks stink, and their mouths stink and the food they eat stinks. And this happens as if it is a feature of a specific section of society. They use a language that suggests they never realize. How can you not realize you are offending the person opposite you? Muslims must be very high quality, and be rational, immaculate and deep-thinking. Everything about them must be immaculate. Their food and drink, the way they go to bed and get up, everything must be immaculate. Their language must be immaculate. Muslims must lead exemplary lives. They depict filth as a sign of faithfulness. They depict filthy clothes, filthy eating habits and filthy behavior as signs of faithfulness. That is how unbelievers behave. Allah says “Say: These are for the believers in the life of this world, purely (theirs) on the resurrection day” in one verse. Because disbelief also enjoys the blessings of this world. But the hereafter belongs to you alone, He says. But Allah does not say that this world is also for you alone. “Purely (theirs) on the resurrection day” He says, insha’Allah.
